Week Six Day Five Putting Off and Putting On

Ephesians 4:22-24

22.  That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts

23.  and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

24.  and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Whenever anybody becomes a Christian-or when a Christian comes back to God-he is a new creation-he is to put off everything that is part of his old life and put off Christ-like qualities of his new life.

The authors listed over sixty things a person must put off and what to put on.  For example, the first one on the list is Lack of Love which needs to be replaced with Love.  As I am looking through this list, I realize that I need to put off a majority of what is listed and replace them with Christ-like qualities.

Since this section is long, I will be breaking this down into several smaller postings.  I will also be combining several similar put offs and put ons.
